Sara grew up in Dallas, TX and received her BS in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas and MD at Texas Tech University SOM in Lubbock, TX. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Texas Tech University. Sara and her husband moved to Charlottesville shortly after getting married this last Summer of 2024 for her fellowship training in pediatric GI at UVA. She has always had an interest in research and a passion to contribute to the ever-growing field of medicine. Sara was absolutely thrilled when she found the Voss Lab. She instantly felt a sense of belonging when she met with Kelsey and Michelle to discuss her interest in joining the team. She knew this was the place she had been looking for to officially consolidate her journey in clinical research. Sara feels so grateful for this wonderful opportunity and looks forward to becoming an active member of the Voss Lab beginning in 2025!
